One of my favorite Japanese restaurants "EN Japanese Brasserie" in West Village is having a sake tasting party on Saturday, May 15th. You get to try 100 best sake with amazing food from EN. The admission fee is $40 that includes food and drinks. I think that's an amazing deal since I know how great their food is and am sure that you'll be tasting all the best sake. I'll be there to enjoy the night with my great friends. :)
